Card text is the text on the card that describes the abilities of the card and other effects it has on the game. Each paragraph in the text declares exactly one ability. Text on a card always overrides the rules defined in rule book.
The text on a card is officially only there as a reminder. All card are considered to have the text associated with that card name in the official card list, regardless of the text printed on the physical card.
